Aquabase Bottom Fert

AQUABASE
Aquabase 250gm - $27.00
Sizes

Aquabase is a natural material, just the right mix for setting up a planted aquarium. It builds up the excellent nutritional environment for your tank substrate, and makes it easy for aquatic plants to adapt when they are initially transplanted. In additional, its gradual decomposition will maintain the ideal condition for a long lasting period (the application of Aquabase along with other Ferka products will provide the substrate long-term nutrition richness). Aquabase material is 95-97% natural by weight. It holds a slightly acid condition between 6.7-6.9 pH, concerning with the water quality. Aquabase supports and also stimulates bacterial colonizing, which plays an important role in the ecology system of planted aquariums, therefore, will suppress the arising of algae which usually occurs in the initial stage.

Direction and dosage Mix Aquabase with 50% of the total gravel you use (the gravel should be moist to reduce the diffusion of Aquabase powder), then cover up with another half of well-washed gravel and gently fill up the water to avoid scattering the substrate. Two days after the planting, change 50% of the water, and after a week change another 30%.  The 250g pack is sufficient to treat a 200 litre capacity tank. If extra nutrition treatments are required, the usage rate could be increased to 750g per 200 litre tank.
Product content : 250g.

Caution:
Do not fertilize the tank for 4 weeks immediately after set up. Start dosing the tank with Aquatilizer at half dose at 5th week then follows up with full dose.

ROSETTA
Rosetta 20's - $13.00
Rosetta 50's - $25.00
Sizes

Rosetta is a nutrient supplement for aquatic plants to uptake by their roots. It was
formulated specially for the specific type of aquatic plant that has short or underground
stems, with their leaves forming in circular shapes, like a rose (Rosette plants), such as the plants in the family
of Anubias, Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne and water-lily (Nymphaea).

Using Rosetta will ensure your Rosette plants have healthy, lush-looking leaves and bigger stems,
bringing out the beauty part of the plants in this variety.  Other than its complete component of
both macro and micro-nutrients, Rosetta also contains an extra component which will support the
maturation process of aquatic plants.

Rosetta is available in extremely fine powder, and packed in natural gelatin capsules. It will dissolve
rapidly in less than 15 minutes and immediately becomes the food for the bacteria under the gravel layer.

With Rosetta, growing difficult or demanding plants, due to their exceeding needs of nutrient richness,
will be easy. Rosetta is suitable for reddish and greenish plants.

STEMMA
Stemma 20's - $13.00
Stemma 50's - $25.00

Stemma is a nutrient supplement for aquatic plants to take up by their roots. It was formulated specially for the specific variety of aquatic plant that has its stem distinct above the ground (stem plants). Other than its complete component of both macro and micro nutrients, Stemma also contains an extra component which will hasten the maturation process, support shoot systems and promote branch formation. This is a novel approach in nurturing aquatic plants that makes trimming much easier and also extends the replanting cycle. Stemma is available in extremely fine powder, and packed in natural gelatin capsule. It will dissolve rapidly in less than 15 minutes and immediately becomes the food for the bacteria under the gravel layer. With Stemma, growing difficult or demanding will be much easier. Stemma is suitable for reddish and greenish plants.

Direction and dosage
Use forceps to place Rosetta or Stemma under the gravel layer, down to the tank base (if the gravel layer is more than 10 cm thick, apply at the proper depth by also considering the depth of the root zone). Rosetta should be applied every 3-4 weeks (depending on the variety and the size of your plants).

Each of Rosetta and Stemma capsule can approximately cover the area of 12 cm in diameter, depending mainly on the gravel size. However, the appropriate gravel size for aquatic plant growing should be 1-2 mm in diameter on average
.
